Overview:

Provides for Expansion Port Networks (EPNs) which are remotely located from the Processor Port Network (PPN) at a distance greater than the range of a fiber connection (Five miles with multi-mode fiber or 22 miles with single mode fiber.)
This solution may also be used if private right-of-way for a fiber run cannot be achieved
This arrangement allows for the use of up to four T1 circuits to connect the PPN and EPN
Install in place of fiber
Supports from one to four T1 or E1 facilities
Up to 92 channels between PPN and EPN
